Dr. Sameer Siddiqui, MD is fellowship trained in robotic surgery, having completed over 200 robotic cases prior to beginning at Metropolitan Urology. He is certified by the American Board of Urology. His field of expertise is prostate cancer, kidney cancer and kidney reconstruction; subjects in which he has published extensively (click on link below for complete list of publications). He currently writes a blog on the latest urology topics on the Surgeon's Blog.
Dr. Siddiqui graduated phi beta kappa from Washington University in St. Louis with a B.A in Political Science and Biology. He graduated cum laude from the University of Missouri Medical School in Columbia. He completed a 6 year urology residency at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. He completed an 18 month Robotic surgery fellowship at the renowned Vattikuti Urology Institute in Detroit, Michigan.
If you are diagnosed with prostate cancer, bladder cancer, or a kidney mass, Dr. Siddiqui will offer an extended consultation typically within a week of contacting us. Patients traveling from a long distance can arrange for a telephone consultation with Dr. Siddiqui. Dr. Siddiqui is now seeing patients.
Dr. Siddiqui treats all aspects of urology including stone disease, incontinence, laser surgery for an enlarged prostate, erectile dysfunction, blood in the urine, and an elevated PSA.
